How do I renew my books?
Use LibrarySearch via the library catalogue to renew the books and other items you've borrowed so you can keep them for longer.
Make sure you are signed in, either by using the Sign in option and use your student ID number and library 4 digit pin.
Once you're signed in, click on My Library Account and you'll then see a list of the items you have on loan.
To renew all your items select Renew All and you'll see the due dates change. Remember you won't be able to renew if your overdue charges are more than £10, so contact your Library to pay the charges if this happens.If you only wish to renew certain items, select the items using the tick boxes and then choose Renew Selected...
If the renewal is successful the status column will indicate success and the due date will change.Sometimes an item will show as Not renewable. This could be because someone else has reserved the item or perhaps you have already renewed the item the maximum 15 times. In these cases you will need to return the item.
How many items can I borrow at one time?
All students can borrow up to 15 items at one time.
Staff can borrow up to 25 items at one time.
How long can I borrow items for?
There are 4 different types of loan available at the library. 
Can I use my own device?
Yes we have free wi-fi throughout the library.
The Wi-Fi network name is "BYODOLIC".
Use your student username and password to login.
How do I pay for printing?
We have 3 photocopier/printers which you can also scan with.

3p -B&W A3
10p Colour A4
15p Colour A3
You pay for printing by 'topping up' your student ID card. This can be done at the Information and Services Desk or the 'Top Up' machine situated in the main study area.
I see you have workshops but am I able to have a one to one session?
Yes of course. These sessions are more limited due to only a small level of staff in comparison to students but we try to support every student that needs us.
