The Owen Library and Information centre has a range of fantastic resources and facilities.
Resources
We hold a lot more than just books and have a type of resource for every learner type. So what do we have all together... books, DVD's, CD's, journals, newspapers, magazines, e-journals, e-databases, and online interactive teaching resources. Please see our online resources page for links and guidance.
Technology
We have 44 fixed PC's and 8 Macs available for students to use on a drop in basis. All have Microsoft packages installed, some have specialist software such as Sage and Photoshop. Please ask at the desk or email us for more info. As well as the PC's, for student's who would like to use our study rooms we have loanable laptops that are issued from the library desk.
Study Spaces
We have 3 study rooms on access to all students, aswell as our main study area. We have a silent study room, a presentation room equipped with interactive whiteboard facilities and a social study room. The social study room has moveable furniture to suit students needs, it is ideal for group work or more relaxed study.
